In 1898, 37 dedicated lumbermen came together in Chicago, IL, to form the NHLA. Their vision was powerful. To bring consistency, integrity, and unity to an industry that, until then, relied simply on trust. More than a century later, that same spirit continues to drive our Association and the members who make it strong.

As we look ahead to 2026, it’s clear that NHLA’s strength lies in the collective experience and dedication of its members. To all who joined this year, Thank You.
