Position Description
Lead sawmill operations to achieve safety, quality, and production targets.
Plan and coordinate production schedules
Monitor yields, enforce quality standards, and conduct grade checks.
Foster employee development through training, coaching, and cross-training.
Collaborate with maintenance and other departments to minimize downtime.
Report on production metrics and operational performance.
Required Skills & Experience
Experience in sawmill, lumber, or industrial production environments.
Strong knowledge of sawmill operations, processes, and equipment.
Solid background in workplace safety and regulatory compliance.
Organizational and scheduling skills with adaptability to changing needs.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency with basic computer applications and production reporting.
Salary & Benefits
$65,000 - $85,000
