This is a full-time on-site role for a Kiln Department Supervisor located in New London, WI. This role is responsible for leading and overseeing the Kiln Department within the production facility and ensuring proper operations to achieve optimal efficiency, quality and output. Day-to-day tasks include monitoring and adjusting kiln operations to maintain optimal temperatures, pressure and humidity levels for quality and lumber drying. The supervisor will also be responsible for training and supervising kiln department staff to ensure safe and effective operations.
Required Skills & Experience
3-5 years experience in kiln operations
Strong leadership skills
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in a related field is a plus
Proficient computer skills
