Alan McIlvain Company is hiring an experienced Outside Sales Representative to grow and manage business across Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia, Washington, DC, and Delaware.

This role focuses on developing new business, growing existing accounts, and building strong relationships with lumberyards, millwork shops, builders, and other commercial wood product customers. The right candidate will have sales experience in lumber, millwork, building materials, hardwoods, mouldings, or related products and be comfortable managing a multi-state territory.

Responsibilities
- Develop new business across the assigned territory
- Manage and grow existing customer accounts
- Call on lumberyards, millwork shops, builders, and related commercial accounts
- Sell hardwood lumber, softwood lumber, and custom moulding products
- Prepare quotes, follow up on opportunities, and close business
- Work with internal teams to support customer needs and order execution
- Stay informed on market conditions, pricing, and customer demand
