Mansions of the South Tour
Thursday October 26

The South’s most rewarding showplace, Belle Meade Plantation, is known as the “Queen of the Tennessee Plantations.” The fully restored Greek Revival mansion was completed in 1853 and the grounds include a large carriage house, stable, log cabin, winery, and several other original buildings. Belmont Mansion was the summer home of Adelicia Acklen, an extraordinary woman who married a then unheard-of three times. Adelicia was reputed to be the wealthiest woman in the United States in the mid-nineteenth century. An ornate Italianate design, the home features many of the original furnishings and includes marble fountains, cast-iron gazebos, and statuary that are still standing as evidence of ornate, formal gardens. Discover Belle Meade Plantation at www.bellemeadeplantation.com.

Cost to attend this event is $65.00 per person
* Price includes admission, wine tasting at Belle Meade Plantation’s winery, round trip transportation, and a southern lunch. The tour group will depart the Omni Hotel at 10am and return at @2:30pm.
