Lumber Drying Short Courses

With export sales hovering around 30% of total demand in the market, lumber drying short courses have never been more important. The specifications for exporting lumber require Phyto-Sanitary or NHLA Kiln Drying Certification for all species. Understanding and correctly administering the kiln drying process can make the certification process easier and lead to an expanded customer base. These courses will improve the efficiency by teaching methods for diagnosing and reducing the risk of degrades during the kiln drying process. Topics include everything from evaluating log suppliers to transportation to running the kiln itself.
